Abstract: Kearney, M. S., & Levine, P. B. (2017) have shown that two-parent households have higher incomes than single-parent households. There is shown to be a significant relationship between two-parent households and higher scores financial well-being scores. When controlling for education level, there is still a significant relationship between financial well-being score and household type. Further research should examine how financial well-being affects overall life satisfaction.
