Abstract: This study examines the association between household type and the rates of antisocial disorder diagnosis in adult children of parents who abused substances. Among the described sample, chi-squared tests of significance were used to examine the association of the e rates of antisocial diagnosis between individuals living in mobiles homes, apartments, and single-family households. These tests showed a significance relationship between variables. Logistic regressions showed that level of income is a confounding variable between household type and antisocial disorder diagnosis. Further steps could be taken to examine the association between household type and other rates of mental illness diagnosis.
