Abstract: Marital happiness is a critical component of overall life satisfaction, with economic conditions playing a significant role in shaping relationship quality. This study explores the association between marital happiness and economics using data from the 2021 General Social Survey (GSS). Respondents were categorized by marital happiness (very happy, pretty happy, or not too happy), financial satisfaction (satisfied or not satisfied), and income level (low, middle, or high). This research aims to understand how economic conditions, both perceived and earned, influence marital dynamics.
